Here at Cypress Veterinary Hospital, we proudly offer advanced pet imaging services, including fluoroscopy and pet CT scans. These services provide a comprehensive scope of your pet’s medical status and highlight any underlying conditions that may require medical attention.

We ensure each patient is closely monitored by our surgical care team, with a staff doctor overseeing the entire process. Through general anesthesia, vital sign monitoring, and heat support, your pet’s safety is our priority throughout their pet scan. After the procedure, you’ll receive a detailed report from a board-certified radiologist, including recommendations for further diagnostics or treatment.

Computerized Tomography (CT) and Fluoroscopy

CT Scans

CT Scans are non-invasive and are not painful for the pet. Patients are placed under general anesthesia so we can obtain high-resolution, cross-section images of specific structures such as nasal passages and sinuses, ears, lungs, chest, stomach, and some joints. This allows us to identify issues such as:

  • Nasal polyps
  • Inner ear growths
  • Shunts
  • Masses
  • Tumors
  • And more

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a technique used to track fluid movement throughout the body (kind of like an x-ray movie) and can be useful in diagnosing things like megaesophagus, GERD or collapsing trachea

Referring Veterinarians

We offer a seamless referral process for veterinarians needing a CT scan for their patients. Our facility provides high-quality imaging at an affordable cost, with ample availability. We pride ourselves on collaborating with you to deliver the best care to your clients, ensuring that all patients are returned to you after their scans.

We guarantee that:

  • The entire process is overseen by a staff veterinarian.
  • Patients are closely monitored by our skilled surgical care team.
  • After the scan, patients are recovered and discharged in the afternoon.
  • Finalized reports from a board-certified radiologist are delivered to you, complete with recommendations for any additional diagnostics or treatment.
  • If anything emergent is discovered on a scan, we will promptly reach out to you to discuss next steps.
